DE RODE BRUG
City Lab, de Rode Brug (the red bridge) is an initiative for a cultural project in Utrecht, the Netherlands, to reuse red-light boats as studio spaces for artists and an exposition space, giving a positive impulse to an almost forgotten part of the city.
The concept includes studio spaces, gallery and educational urban farming to collaborate with surrounding primary schools.
Unfortunately the project has not been realized, as the boats had to be moved to another location and the municipality had other plans for the space.
